So i’ve been looking back and forth for a new fitness watch and it seems Polar and Garmin watches come up the most between the best fitness watches. Just looking for opinions between these watches. My particular pet peeve would be on looks, by far the Polar watches looks great but as far as hardware it seems Garmin is on top. My thought process is as so, its 2011 not 1990, i expected to see great looking watches that can do much more with a sleek design and i haven’t found much. I’m almost thinking of just getting an ipod nano/nike+ and a wrist watch nano holder and calling it a day but that doesn’t have all that i’m looking for in terms of functionality. I’m looking a multi-sport, gps, calorie counter, heart rate monitor, water proof watch.
I would like to do swimming with them but its primarily for running. A lot of these multi-sport watches are quite bulky.

-I feel good today,
-Honestly, the feeling’s quite strange
-As i step into the sun the scowl burns off my face
-A large grin begins to form in it’s place
-but the contradicting cold breeze hits about 4 minutes late
-Reminding me how i’m like a Satellite orbiting in space
-Separate from society often resorting to hate
-But when i’m out in the sun absorbing it’s rays
-I can’t help but feel the good vibes from the vibrant skies
-The snow is finally melting and birds are flying by
-Must be springs way of saying "I’ve arrived"
-Just as I fight the off the urge to scream "I’m Alive"
-I realize that spring break is coming to an end
-My sanity will be tested soon after the new week begins
-Sadly, the only things guaranteed on this earth are taxes and death

but then his face started to change,
and people started to talk.

His body was turning from black to white,

i am doing situps (well, “knee bends”, as i cannot involve my hands when i am wearing a pulse oximeter)… and i am reaching 160 beats per minute heart rate and an oxygen desaturation in NO TIME AT ALL! o_O you can easily see i dont often do sports, teehee. ^_^

"No!!!" shrilled Savannah as Mrs. Martinez tried to calm her down in her office. "She can’t be dead! This isn’t real! This is only a dream!"
Savannah cried fervently as Martinez held her tightly. Her best friend wasn’t here. The empty seat where Palma should have sat in was missing a bubbly, human with buttery-blond hair. Palma wasn’t there. And she would never come back.
"I’m sorry, Vanny." sniffed Martinez, trying to suppress her crying but not being successful at it. "I’m really not fit to handle this type of stuff."
"But you’re the only one I can talk to!" sobbed Savannah, clinging to the woman. "I don’t need to talk to those grief counselors!"
Martinez gently hushed her, stroking her back. Savannah knew she was upset too. She couldn’t hide it. No matter how hard she tried. Palma was dead and it was nothing they could do about it. But she wasn’t supposed to die. She was supposed to be okay. She shouldn’t have died.
"It’s my fault." whimpered Savannah. "If I hadn’t invited her to join me and Andy, she would still be alive."
"No, it’s not." insisted Martinez. "You didn’t know what was going to happen."
"I already lost two people I knew." blubbered Savannah. "Now I lost my best friend!"
Savannah couldn’t take it anymore. Paramount was supposed to be a happy place. Heaven. Not a place where people died. That stuff only happened in Graysville. Not Paramount.
"I want to go home…" Savannah sniffed, wiping her nose with a tissue.
"Okay, I’ll call your mom." Martinez said quietly. "Why don’t you sit outside for a while. I’ll get on the phone with your mom in a minute."
Tears were still pouring from her face when she left the room. In the office students and teachers were looking at her pityingly. Every eye was on her. And she wanted that. She wanted people to console her. She didn’t want to be alone in this.
Elisha met up with Savannah by her locker. Savannah was pulling out her backpack when Elisha gently tapped her on her shoulders. She turned around the find the beautiful Elisha with dark mascara running down her face. Elisha tried to say something, but was stopped by a sob in her throat. Without a word, Savannah and Elisha embraced. It was prolonged so that no one could bother them. They needed all the time in the world to let their feelings out. Everything about this situation killed Savannah. Something like this shouldn’t have happened. Savannah thought if she hadn’t called Savannah on that day, Palma would have been okay. It’s like taking your iPod to the park and ending up breaking the earphones. You keep thinking if you hadn’t brought it to the park, your earphones would have been okay. But in reality you had no control over the breakage.
"I’m sorry," whispered Elisha. "I just want this to end."
"I know." said Savannah. "I know."
They went to the grave site and watched Palma’s casket descend six feet under. Andy was looking straight at the casket. Beautifully, handcrafted with gold and crystals. Gold was Palma’s favorite color.
"We say goodbye to a friend…" the funeral director began, looking at the bible. "Although our friend Palma was only fifteen, she had lived a fulfilling life."
Savannah didn’t mean to, but she scoffed. Palma had a long way to go. She didn’t need to die at the age of fifteen. She was a beautiful girl who could have gotten married and have children. The world had lost a friend, a mother, a grandmother, and a singer. Palma’s voice could no longer be heard.
Reese suddenly threw up, splattering her fluids all over the ground. Everyone turned to look at her. Savannah’s heart went out to her. Reese was the one who needed all the attention. She was the one who first learned about Palma’s cancer. She had thought Palma was going to die. But then there was cure that could make Palma’s tumor go away. And it did. But then the speeding car had taken her away.
"I’m sorry," sobbed Reese, "I’m sorry."
